Tieton River Whitewater Rafting Trip in Tieton Washington

Tieton River Whitewater Rafting Trip in Tieton Washington

Don't miss out on the last whitewater of the summer! With a 600 foot drop in elevation from launch to finish, the Tieton River is sure to get your adrenaline pumping on this whitewater rafting trip near Seattle.

The birthplace of this spectacular river lies high in the snowfields of the Goat Rocks Wilderness. During the spring and summer, the melt off from these snowfields is retained by a large earth dam, forming Rimrock Lake.

Then, every September, the Bureau of Land Reclamation opens the flood gates of the dam, sending 2,000 CFS down the Tieton Valley. There is only one word to describe this river and that is FAST.

Guides, instruction, rafts, equipment, wetsuits, shuttle transportation from the check-in location to the rafting put-in, and riverside lunch buffet are all included. Lunch will include chicken and steak, served with four bean salad, green salad, and fresh cut watermelon.

This tour departs from Naches, located approximately 153 miles southeast of Seattle.

What equipment is provided? -- All of the gear and equipment you will need will be provided. Each guest is issued a life jacket, paddle, wetsuit and a pair of booties for the trip. If needed, a helmet is both required and provided to everyone on the trip.

In the event of dire emergencies, arrangements can be made to evacuate sick or injured persons at their own expense.
