Skagit River Bald Eagle Scenic Float Trip in Washington
See these majestic birds
The Skagit River Bald Eagle Nature Preserve is host to the largest population of bald eagles in the continental United States - it's the winter feeding ground for over 500 bald eagles that come from Vancouver Island and British Columbia to feast on spawning salmon and enjoy the relatively warm weather of the Skagit Valley.
The lower section of the Skagit River is very calm and the tour is peaceful and relaxing. With hot chocolate served on board in the comfort of the rafts, you'll quietly drift by eagles perching in riverside cottonwood trees or soaring overhead with their magnificent seven-foot wingspan. As you continue down the river and pass into the Bald Eagle Nature Preserve, it's hard to imagine these American icons were once nearly extinct when you see several birds all on one tree!
You'll be in awe at the close-up views you'll get, so bring your cameras and binoculars for photographs of a lifetime!
There are no refunds. All sales are final.

The Skagit River is a Northwest Treasure.
Gateway to the North Cascades National Park on the Cascade Loop, the Skagit River affords a remarkable outdoor experience throughout the year right in the backyard of Seattle and Vancouver, BC. The Upper half packs a whitewater punch in the Class III S-Curves, with plenty of time for snapshots, swimming, and splash time in the summer.
Surrounded by majestic Northwest scenery, the Lower Skagit wilderness delivers fantastic framing for your photos of the bald eagles in the winter. Wine tasting tours are a perfect compliment to the colored leaves in the autumn. This river rafting trip is perfect for a day of family fun or corporate team building or just a relaxing getaway.
48 HOURS MINIMUM ADVANCE BOOKING REQUIRED. Tour does not include hotel pick up. Please order online, or call us toll-free at 800-305-9617.
