The Boeing Company announced in 1966 that it would build the world's largest jet airliner, the 747. This would require the company to construct an equally impressive manufacturing complex. The complex is recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest building in the world by volume. The building has grown over the years to enclose 472 million cubic feet of space (13.3 million cubic meters). Its footprint covers 98.3 acres (39.8 hectares) and houses assembly for Boeing wide-body aircraft like the 747, 767, and 777.
On the Boeing flight line, visitors will see airplanes in various stages of flight test and manufacture for airline customers around the world. This tour is not to be missed! In addition to the actual plant, visitors in 2007 will also tour the Future of Flight Center.

Customer Ratings & Reviews
I have already recommended this tour to aircraft and airline enthusiasts. But I can also recommend it to anyone interested in travel and in what makes Seattle and the Pacific Northwest tick.
Recommend to anybody
The tour itself was run by the Boeing company and was very impressive. The tour company provided transportation and guide/driver between the hotel and the plant. Very nice gentleman with great local knowledge f the Seattle area and Boeing. The only area for improvement is that the van was a little dated.
Excellent tour in all regards.
We loved the tour, most impressed with the bus service and attention paid to us, in particular me, as I couldn't climb stairs, I was given the V.I.P. treatment by using their little trolley cards.
So cool to see planes being constructed on a gigantic assembly line!
